Tax filing
Prepare, generate, file, deliver, and correct 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC (Box 6) forms with Wingspan, plus Canadian T4A slips.
This section helps you file year-end tax forms for the contractors you pay through Wingspan: Form 1099-NEC, Form 1099-MISC (Box 6, medical and health care payments), and Canadian T4A slips. It covers preparing your contractor and payment data, generating forms, fixing them before filing, filing and delivering them, and correcting them afterward.
You run 1099 generation, filing, delivery, and corrections in the Wingspan web app. The V3 API covers the data that feeds your forms: payees, tax information, off-platform payments, and electronic delivery consent. Each page says which parts you can do through the API today.
This isn't tax or legal advice. Consult a qualified tax professional about your filing obligations.
