Custom fields in Wingspan

You can use custom fields in Wingspan to help organize and manage your Collaborators and line items. For example, you can associate an internal employee ID with a collaborator to help keep track across platforms.

There are two classes of custom fields in Wingspan:

• Custom collaborator fields
• Custom line item fields

Custom line item fields enable you to store custom data about your line items when creating payables in Wingspan. To create a payable that includes custom line item field data, add columns titled with the custom field name to the bulk payable upload. Custom line item fields are visible on your payable reports. Your collaborators can not see or edit the custom fields on their payables.

Custom collaborator fields enable you to store custom data about your collaborators in Wingspan. These fields can be updated by editing an individual collaborator, or via the collaborator bulk upload. Custom fields are visible on the collaborator profile and on collaborator reports. Your collaborators can not see or edit the custom fields on their profiles.
