What’s New for 2025
Updates to Wingspan Tax Filing and Contractor Management
As we prepare for the 2025 tax filing season, Wingspan is introducing
updates designed to enhance contractor management and streamline the filing
process.
1. 1099-MISC (Box 6) Filing Support
Payers can now choose between filing 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC forms within
Wingspan. 1099-MISC filings are supported for Box 6: Medical and health care
payments. When you select 1099-MISC in filing settings, Wingspan guides you
through selecting Box 6 so payments are reported correctly.
